The Itsy Bitsy Spider as told and illustrated by Iza Trapani
The itsy bitsy spider is at it again, and this time, the water spout is more than a metaphor (it looks like a house gutter). Next, the little spider climbs the kitchen wall – but a fan makes it fall. It’s a very resilient spider. It tries climbing a yellow pail, then a rocking chair, then a maple tree, and finally lands next to “me”. On her last try, she has better luck, and the itsy bitsy spider finally gets to spin her web.
A pleasing elaboration of a very familiar nursery rhyme.
